The Lau Pa Sat Hawker Centre is a gem of Singapore, created in the 19th century and home to a delightful blend of dishes for travellers to enjoy. This includes chicken rice, kaya toast, satay, curry puffs, spicy chickpeas, and heaps more – with reasonable prices to make the entire experience all the more affordable.

Tekka Centre

If you’re in the mood for something different, the Tekka Centre dishes out a colourful assortment of delicious Indian cuisine for you to sink your teeth into. The markets are located near the Little India MRT station, within a large warehouse that’s hard to miss. On the menu are curry and other rice-based dished. For dessert, there’s plenty of options to satisfy – such as the beloved chi kak kueh. If you’re in the mood to do some shopping, the floors above have silk on sale.

The East Coast Lagoon Food Centre is the perfect spot for foodies to enjoy a delicious meal with a scenic location along the beach. There’s a little something for everyone to enjoy with the variety available at the East Coast Lagoon Food Centre.

Maxwell Road Hawker Centre

The Maxwell Road Hawker Centre serves up delicious street food in Singapore – with a convenient location for visitors. Since it’s plotted across from the Buddha Tooth Relic, it’s effortless for tourists to add the marketplace into their itinerary. With regards to food, there’s plenty of favourites to choose among – including chicken rice, fritters, char kway teow, noodles, soup, and heaps more.

The Old Airport Road Food Centre is one of the oldest Singapore street food markets in the city, initially opening in 1973.
