We have been here for a few visits, but saw the cafe through different eyes upon taking my 5 mth and 3 yr old girls for brekky.
On a weekend they are immensely busy…so book ahead, even if it’s 15 mins before you get there so the staff can prepare…I loved the offer of highchairs and the chair already cleared for our mammoth stroller.
Little miss 3 was well catered for, the kids menu has fresh items from the kitchen rather than the standard fair, and when we ordered for her the staff enquired if we wanted a kids or small size which was just fab.
I love their breakfasts…really great value and tasty food…the absence of bought-in cakes, and ice cream you can choose..white kids size piccolos also available. The place is popular with the local, oldies and families and solo diners…I watched a table with three generations, while a dude ate his brekky with his iPad.
Good parking, no baby change facilities, high chairs available. Yes it’s crowded but really worth it. Merlo coffee is always appreciated, as is the yumm thickItalian hot chocolates.
