Leche Cafe

Yamba is a pretty good place to be with the kids.

One of the child friendly spots to eat in town is Leche Cafe, a coffee spot with a great atmosphere and shabby chic surroundings.

The results at a glance-

  • high chair available
  • toys and blackboard table to keep the kids amused
  • courtyard out the back with room for the pram
  • flexible friendly staff to make you feel welcome
  • suitable food choices for the little diners
  • no baby change facilities

Leche is not just a great place to take the kids for a bite to eat, it’s also big on sustainability and has it’s own garden in the courtyard where one of the staff members were spotted during our stay gathering supplies for the dishes being prepared that day. The menu revolves around seasonal produce and what is available locally.

The food is tasty and the coffee is great making it a top spot for breakfast or lunch.

The kids will enjoy it for the toys provided and the blackboard table out in the courtyard. The courtyard to spacious and relaxed- the perfect spot for a holiday breakfast. The staff are accommodating so that the whole family will enjoy their time at Leche.
