The café plays host to families, corporates and couples most weeknights and kids are very welcome.

The food is always a high standard and the beer and wine list more than adequate with a few craft beers and Moet as just some of the options. You can order from the fresh seafood cabinet with options like prawns by the kilo, Alaskan crab legs and oysters. If sushi and sashimi is what you’re looking for the sushi bar is full of options. Of course your traditional fish and chips is available and even steak, chicken or pork for the non seafood partakers.

There is no set children’s menu but with options like whiting or calamari and chips there are plenty of share options to choose from.

Ordering happens at the counter and pay as you go which is great if you are going with a few other families and would like to pay separately.

Open seven days, it’s a great option for any day or night but lends itself to a ‘let your hair down’ Friday evening. A special family occasion can be easily catered for with Max Brenner just around the corner in the Gasworks Plaza for that chocolate hit. Give the kids some time to run around the open plaza to expend some energy while you grab a sneaky cocktail at Buzz Bisto directly opposite the plaza before heading home.
