We just visited Canberra, and tried out as many buffets as we could! They may have taken the cake for some of the best things to do in Canberra (we are easily pleased with food)! Keep reading for our favourites.

Whether you’re hungry for sushi, chicken wings, or international cuisines – all your cravings can be satisfied at once through a family meal at an all you can eat buffet in Canberra. With the massive variety available to everyone, even the pickiest of eaters can find something satisfying.

It’s the perfect situation! Not to mention, with the variety of weekly offers currently scattered throughout Canberra, restaurants have made the family-buffet experience much more realistic for families. Ranging from all you can eat sushi to all you can eat Japanese, here are a few buffets to keep an eye out for in Canberra.

Not all of the following restaurants are buffets, however they were just too good, so we had to include them. We hope you enjoy!

1. Burns Club | Kambah

When we visited the Star Buffet in the Burns Club, we could not wait to tell you all that this is absolutely the BEST buffet in the entirety of Canberra, perhaps even the entire ACT.

The Burns Club offers a diverse buffet experience that the whole family can enjoy. Choose from classic options such roast duck, BBQ pork, seafood, roasted meats, and dessert. You can also choose between Australian, Asian, and European dishes.

The dessert bar was equally as awesome, with soft serve ice cream, fairy floss, chocolate fountains, cakes, jelly and SO SO much more! You’ll just have to visit it yourself to see the extent of this buffet!

The buffet prices vary depending on whether you’re dining on a weekday or the weekend, and if you’re stopping by for lunch or dinner.

2. Okami | Braddon

Okami Canberra

Okami is a Japanese restaurant chain in Australia. They offer a buffet menu with a wide variety of dishes, including sushi, sashimi, tempura, teriyaki, and more. As a result, Okami Canberra is a great place to take kids, as there is something for everyone to enjoy.

3. EightySix | Braddon

Make your way down to EightySix to try their tasting menu. Enjoy a variety of foods to share, including salt and vinegar potato scallops, habanero streak, prawn crackers, fried chicken, spiced cauliflower, black bean blue-eyed cod, pumpkin and mascarpone tortellini, black chicken, strawberry cheesecake, and banoffee pie.

4. Figtree Restaurant | Forrest

The Figtree Restaurant, from Canberra’s Rydges Hotel, offers an all you can eat breakfast buffet 7 days a week. Enjoy a variety of hot brekky classics to kickstart your day.

The Pavilion’s Atrium Restaurant And Bar provide an all you can eat breakfast buffet every morning to start your day right. Enjoy the vibrant, sunny surroundings while enjoying a variety of popular brekky dishes that are sure to satisfy everyone.

6. The Courtyard Restaurant | Braddon

Head over to the Mercure Hotel’s Courtyard Restaurant for their diverse breakfast buffet, open 7 days a week. With a variety of classic options available, there’s sure to be a little something for everyone. Choose between a continental or a full breakfast buffet. Alternatively, make your way down on the last Friday of every month for the Seafood Buffet. Enjoy a vast range of fresh seafood. Prior bookings are recommended.

The Crowne Plaza’s Redsalt Restaurant offers an impressive breakfast buffet that cannot be overlooked. Our personal favourite was their delicious hash browns!

The Burbury Hotel offers an all you can eat buffet breakfast accompanied by beautiful rooftop views. Enjoy a variety of favourite brekky classics, including omelettes, pancakes, muesli, fruit, and bread. We adored their pastries! Not to mention, coffee, tea, and fresh juice are also on offer. Basement parking is complimentary for the first hour at Hotel Realm.
