The Historic Rivermill

Sharing is caring!

Not far from Mount Tamborine, you’ll find this gem of a child friendly cafe, on the banks of the Coomera River.

At a glance

  • high chairs
  • baby change facilities
  • plenty of space
  • welcoming staff
  • kid’s menu
  • PLENTY of distractions to keep the kids amused

The Historic Rivermill is an outing out of Brisbane- about an hour’s drive south from the CBD and is a really kid friendly place to be. The wide open space, the close proximity to the river, and the animals to feed will keep the little diners happy, while you can relax over a coffee and cake, breakfast or lunch.  After something to eat, and checking out the animals, head on down to the river where you can feed the turtles, and skip some stones- it’s a beautiful spot!
