The Grounds of Alexandria Menu

There aren’t many places in Sydney you will be served food from the garden cared for by the full time horticulturist (also available to discuss your garden quandaries). At the grounds cafe Sydney, you can also sip coffee analysed in the venue’s very own coffee research facility (shipped out to many of Sydney’s other wonderful cafes). This place is more than your average cafe. The best thing of all is that it rates 11/10 for its kid friendly and fun options.

The Grounds of Alexandria opening hours

Mon – Fri: 7am – 4pm (kitchen closes at 3pm)
Sat – Sun: 7:30am – 4pm (kitchen closes at 3:45pm)

Open seven days, The Grounds is great for any day of the week but perfect for a slow and relaxed weekend. From 7.30am you can opt for a more formal breakfast in the café or from 9am bacon and egg rolls with delicious coffee can be grabbed in the garden for a casual munch.

And of course if you’re still wandering around at lunch, the lunch menu is extensive for adults and options for the kids.  The gardens are fantastic. Sprawling, inviting and full of exploring options for everyone. On the weekend there is often a homemade lemonade stand and kerbside bakery to temp you even more.

This place is perfect for a family weekend breakfast, showing some friends from out of town a place they will never forget or taking the grandparents for lunch on Sunday.
