Next time you’re on the Gold Coast looking for a delicious dinner, check out Clifford’s Grill & Lounge, located in the Voco Gold Coast hotel. The restaurant is on Hamilton Avenue, and an easy eight minute walk from Cavill Avenue.

Recently we were invited to have dinner at Clifford’s Grill & Lounge on the Gold Coast so we could report back to you and let you know what we thought. As always, our feedback is honest and accurately reflects on our experience.

Dining at this meal was 1 adult + 3 kids (aged 12, 14, 16).

We also visited the buffet restaurant called Waves for breakfast and you can read our review here.

Atmosphere at Clifford’s Grill & Lounge

Voco Gold Coast

As soon as we walked into Clifford’s Grill & Lounge, we knew we were in for a treat. The restaurant was spacious, with tables inside and outside, as well as a sporting lounge with a MASSIVE projected screen with a sports game.

Running Get Out With Kids, we have been lucky enough to try so many unique restaurants so we know when something stands out, and Clifford’s Grill & Lounge is certainly one that stood out to us! There were so many different options on the menu it was almost impossible to make a decision.

In the end, we ordered the Rib Eye Steak, Wagyu Beef, Gnocchi and Barramundi (which was the market fish of the day). The portions were huge and filling, and we passed the food around for everyone to try a little of everything!

The Drinks

Voco Gold Coast

Clifford’s Grill & Lounge was absolutely spectacular! We started off with a refreshing lemon lime bitters and Mum had an Aperol Spritz, (she says that is her ‘holiday drink’! ;-)) The kids loved the lemon lime bitters claiming ‘it was hands down the best we’ve ever had!’ We passed it around the entire table and ended up ordering a second round.
