Families can enjoy free stage entertainment, films and a spectacular fireworks display at 9.30pm. All entertainment is duplicated in two distinct zones across the site to assist with large crowds.

Maribyrnong City Council are hosting New Year’s Eve fireworks at 6.30pm in Footscray Park located on Ballarat Road, Footscray. The program starts at 6:30pm so families can bring along picnic supplies, enjoy free entertainment and watch a fireworks display at 10.30pm.

Fireworks can be viewed from anywhere within the Footscray Park precinct.

Please note: The event is alcohol-free and dog owners are advised to leave their pooch at home. No entry charge.

No parking on-site. Please catch public transport to central Footscray for an easy 10 minute walk to the event site.
