Sammy’s on the Marina Glenelg
This attractive seafood venue is situated in the popular tourist destination of Glenelg, a pretty beachside location. As the name suggests it is situated at the Marina with a 270 degree view of the Marina AND the beach, it is an ideal spot for those who like to drink in the views (as well as the cocktails on offer!) as the sun goes down.
The restaurant offers a number of options from the menu, including a number of share platters. The South Australian platter offers 4 king prawns, 4 Coffin Bay oysters, pickled octopus, 4 Hervey Bay scallops, 2 crumbed Garfish, baby calamari, 2 prawn shashlik, Greek salad, pitta bread and dipping sauces – WOW how much food!! And all for $185. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, so stop in and enjoy some beautiful food and maybe catch a glimpse of some passing dolphins!!

Paul’s On Gouger CBD
This longstanding seafood specialist has had its doors open since 1946 and prides itself on its variety and freshness of its food. It is situated along one of the main streets within Adelaide CBD and has a long list of seafood to sample including share plate options.
The share plates start from $82.90 and incorporate favourites such as scallops, prawns, calamari and then the ability to add additional items which is great for those who wish to sample something different. A children’s menu is available and dessert together with a licensed bar. There is surely something for everybody here!

Secrets by the Sea Henley Beach
The suburb of Henley Beach is located some 15 minutes from Adelaide CBD. Its coastal location and long boardwalk out to the sea, is popular with tourists looking for a beachside location to relax. This particular venue has such a HUGE choice of seafood together with a menu that serves everyone from children, to meat lovers, gluten free and vegans, this is definitely somewhere that has considered all tastes and dietary needs!
The seafood in particular is vast and incorporates such delights as crayfish, oysters in many different ways. A seafood platter for two is available at $145.90 and includes barramundi, flathead, calamari, grilled prawn skewers, seared scallops, natural oysters served with garden salad and seasoned potatoes. Children’s menu offers a number of meals all for a very reasonable $12.90.

Loucas Seafood Restaurant CBD
Located within the CBD area of Adelaide, this venue offers a Mediterranean feel to its choice of food. Seafood is in abundance with many favourites on offer with a Mediterranean twist. Vegetarian options are available, as are meat options for those meatlovers!
Kids are also catered for at this venue. There are share platters available for both seafood and meatlovers and the seafood options come with barramundi, prawns, calamari, scallops all for $65 per person. There is also a mixture of Australian and Greek wines to choose from to wash down the meal with.

The Wharf Glenelg
Situated in the popular Glenelg region next to the Marina, this venue boasts great views and great food! The food on offer is a mixture of seafood and meat. Share plates are also available including a tasting plate which is a selection of four items from the chef ($46), other share plates include Prawns, Scallops, Oysters, Smoked Salmon ($65); oysters $31 per dozen.
There is a grill section available and a Schnitzel section so there is something for everybody. If you are prepared to share your banquet, a share platter for two is also available from $144.

Oyster Bar Glenelg
The Oyster Bar is situated in prime location at the Marina with spectacular views. As the name suggests they offer oysters in all manner of varieties, sauces, cooked, chilled, you name it, you can grab it here!! From Laksas to Mussel pots to fresh fish of the day from a very reasonable $24, this lovely venue offers seafood but also international dishes within this popular tourist destination.
The menu is tasty, with the seafood basket great value for money which includes, fish, prawns and calamari with chips for $29.
