2. Paul’s On Gouger | Adelaide CBD
This longstanding seafood specialist has had its doors open since 1946 and prides itself on its variety and freshness of its food. It is situated along one of the main streets within Adelaide CBD and has a long list of seafood to sample including share plate options.
The share plates incorporate favourites such as scallops, prawns, calamari and then the ability to add additional items which is great for those who wish to sample something different. A children’s menu is available and dessert together with a licensed bar. There is definitely something for everybody here!

3. Secrets by the Sea | Henley Beach
The suburb of Henley Beach is located some 15 minutes from Adelaide CBD. Its coastal location and long boardwalk out to the sea, is popular with tourists looking for a beachside location to relax. Located within the CBD area of Adelaide, this venue offers a Mediterranean feel to its choice of food. Seafood is in abundance with many favourites on offer with a Mediterranean twist. Vegetarian options are available, as are meat options for those meatlovers!

5. Oyster Bar | Glenelg
The Oyster Bar is situated in prime location at the Marina with spectacular views. As the name suggests they offer oysters in all manner of varieties, sauces, cooked, chilled, you name it, you can grab it here!! This family friendly establishment located in Glenelg is a firm favourite with the locals. It is an award winning venue with particular attention to its fresh seafood on offer together with an array of pasta and meat dishes, so all tastes are catered for.
As the name suggests there is an Italian vibe to this place. Whilst not a buffet style, there are share plates available and the platter caters for a minimum of two persons included in which is Grilled Cone Bay Barramundi, Black Sesame Crumb – Crumbed SA Garfish – Grilled Aust. From Laksas to Mussel pots to fresh fish of the day, this lovely venue offers seafood but also international dishes within this popular tourist destination.
